Biography

Joseph “Richard Holliday” Zimbardi was born on November 8, 1992, in New Haven, Connecticut, and was raised in nearby Westport. He was a standout college football player at the University of New Haven before transitioning into professional wrestling. Holliday trained under former WCW World Tag Team Champion Paul Roma and at the Paradise Alley Professional Wrestling School. He made his wrestling debut on December 12, 2015, for Northeast Wrestling.
Holliday truly rose to fame in Major League Wrestling (MLW), joining in 2018 and becoming a founding member of the faction known as The Dynasty, alongside Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Alexander Hammerstone. As part of this group, Holliday captured the MLW World Tag Team Championshipwith MJF and later added the IWA Caribbean Heavyweight Championshipto his accolades. His character was styled as a confident, sharply dressed corporate star—promoting himself as "the most marketable wrestler" and focusing on branding and presentation.
In 2022, Holliday experienced a serious life challenge when he was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He shared publicly that he underwent chemotherapy and felt determined to beat the illness. By May 2023 he announced his cancer was in remission and began training to return to wrestling. He made his comeback in June at a Paradise Alley Pro Wrestling event and has since wrestled for promotions like Game Changer Wrestling and Beyond Wrestling.
Holliday left MLW in April 2023 after his contract expired. He returned at the One Shot event in December 2023, joining the World Titan Federation (WTF)stable led by Mister Saint Laurent, and immediately targeted MLW World Champion Alex Kane with plans to challenge for the title at the next major show.
He holds a marketing degree, which he often highlights as part of his wrestling identity. Holliday is known not just for his in-ring skill and surprising athletic ability for his 6‑foot‑3, 237-pound frame but also for his promotional flair and business-minded persona. Many fans and wrestling insiders praise him as a fresh, modern character with long-term upside.
