Peyton James Miller was born on November 8, 2007, in Unionville, a part of Farmington, Connecticut. From when he was very small, soccer was all around him. His parents gifted him a small soccer ball even when he was too young to walk, and he was always seen kicking around the house. His older brother, Logan, played the game too, and Peyton looked up to him and tried to follow in his footsteps.
At around age three, Peyton began playing in local recreational soccer groups. A coach saw how good he was and urged his parents to get him involved more seriously. He kept growing as a player and was soon playing travel soccer. By age 12, he had outgrown his teams and joined Oakwood Soccer Club in nearby Portland, Connecticut, a club known for high-level training and national attention.
Peyton’s hard work paid off quickly. The New England Revolution Academy invited him to train at age 13 in April 2021. His family drove him from Unionville to Foxborough many times per week so he could attend practices and games. Initially, they kept him in an online school to help him manage both education and soccer commitments.
