During His Senior Year, He Averaged An Impressive 36 Points Per Game, Making Him One Of The Most Powerful Scorers In Connecticut. By Season’s End, He Had Scored 2,228 Career Points, Surpassing His Uncle’s Record And Becoming The School And Naugatuck Valley League All-time Leader. That Senior Season Also Included Three Games With 52 Points, Another With 50, Over 400 Rebounds, And More Than 100 Blocked Shots. His Explosive Dunk During A Game Even Shattered A Backboard, Drawing Attention From Fans And Media. He Earned Three-time All-state And All-NVL Honors And Received Recruiting Interest From Several Division I Schools.
Jordan Williams Committed To The University Of Maryland On October 21, 2008. As A Freshman In 2009–10, He Started 31 Of 33 Games And Was Named To The ACC All‑Rookie Team. He Led All Freshmen And Ranked Second In The ACC In Rebounding. In The Final 10 Games Of The Season, He Averaged 12.6 Points And 10.4 Rebounds Per Game.
In His Sophomore Season (2010–11), He Appeared In 33 Games, All As A Starter. He Was Named To The Preseason Watchlists For Both The Wooden Award And Naismith Award. One Highlight Came On January 22, 2011, When He Recorded His Thirteenth Straight Double‑double, Setting A Maryland School Record. He Finished The Year Averaging Around 11.8 Points And 8.1 Rebounds Per Game And Earned Third Team All‑America Honors From Fox Sports.
