During that time, he oversaw operations across three continents and managed a global staff of about 1,400 employees.
After his time at DMI Trust, Omar Abdi Ali moved into roles in real estate and investment companies. He founded and became chairman of Integrated Property Investments Ltd. and its sister company Quadron Investments Co. Ltd.. He also holds or has held non-executive directorships and chairmanships in other institutions.
