Grupo Firme is a regional Mexican band that started in Tijuana, Baja California, in 2014. The group began when Eduin Cazares and Jairo Corrales joined their friends to form what would become the band. They began by recording cover songs of popular regional music and sharing them online. Those early videos helped them build an audience fast.
In 2017, they released their first album, Pasado, Presente, Futuro, followed by El Barcoand a live album recorded in Tijuana in collaboration with Los Buitres de Culiacán. Their rise grew in 2020 with songs like “Pídeme,” “El Roto,” and “Juro Por Dios,” and they recorded a live album in Colombia during a tour there.
By 2021, they had won key awards, including five Latin Music Awards Premios Lo Nuestro—winning five of six nominations—and a Latin Grammy for Best Banda Album for Nos Divertimos Logrando lo Imposible. They also became one of the few regional Mexican bands to play and sell out multiple stadium shows in the U.S., with a tour called Enfiestados y Amanecidos, including a record-setting concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Grupo Firme is made up of several talented musicians: Eduin Cazares (leader and lead singer), Jhonny Cazares (vocalist), Abraham Hernández (second voice), Dylan Camacho (accordionist), Joaquín Ruiz (under-six string/bajo sexto), Christian Gutiérrez (bassist), and José “Fito” Rubio (drummer). They are known for blending Sinaloan styles like norteño, banda, and sierreño with modern flair, and for using social media to stay close to fans.
As of 2025, Grupo Firme’s net worth is estimated at about $22.5 million, with revenue coming mainly from live performances and concert toursas their primary income source.
