Dixie Jane D’Amelio was born on August 12, 2001, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Her parents are Marc, a businessman who once ran for the Connecticut State Senate, and Heidi, who worked as a photographer and former model. She has a younger sister, Charli D’Amelio, who is also a well-known TikTok creator.
Dixie grew up in Norwalk and attended King School in Stamford, Connecticut. There, she played sports like field hockey, track, and lacrosse, showing early interest in being active and social.
She began her social media journey by creating an Instagram account in July 2015.
